KNUST WINS 2016 GHANA UNVERSITIES DEBATE CHAMPIONSHIP (G.U.D.C)

The Kwame Nkrmah University of Science and Technology has won the Ghana Universities Debate Championship (G.U.D.C) hosted by University of Cape Coast this year; from 15th-23rd June, 2016. This year's G.U.D.C had teams from prominent tertiary institutions including GIMPA, UENR etc and the host UCC. The championship had a total of 15 teams from KNUST. However, three teams from KNUST made it to the final stage along with teams from the other institutions.

After several opinions and counter opinions on the motion: "In Contemporary African Societies, This House Would Prosecute African Leaders For Failed Political Promises" the presidential  team made up of The immediate past SRC president (BNI) and the present SRC president of KNUST were adjudged the best adjudicators of the montion and thus the winners of this year's Ghana Universities Debate Championship
