Sarkodie To Make History Again

African music is certainly on the rise!!
Ghanaian rapper Michael Owusu Addo popularly known as Sarkodie is set to repeat history outside Africa after shutting down the Apollo theatre, New York last year with his History in the Making Concert. The concert which was held last year August, pulled about 1,500 patrons to the auditorium to enjoy African music from artistes such as Shatta Wale, EL, Kwaw Kesse and of course the god himself, Sarkodie.
Little by little, the Ghanaian rapper/2012 BET Award winner is conquering the world with his music and thus selling Ghana to the International market.

This year, Sarkodie is taking the vibe to Canada where he is set to headline something similar to the historic event last year in New York. Come this July, the Multi-award winning musician is set to host an event dubbed "The Return of Africa's rap god- Sarkodie Live" in Canada.
Interestingly, the venue to this event; the Living Arts Centre, is a prominent auditorium which has hosted
lots of internationally recognised artistes.

Just before you thought the icing on Sakodie's cake is enough, E-40 the legendary Hip Hop artiste (original Choices hitmaker) will be joining Sarkodie on stage following an invitation from Sarkodie to him via twitter. E-40 tweeted back at Sarkodie, saying:
I'm on deck like a sailor, lest go @sarkodie

This definitely is a good look for the talented rapper and for the upcoming event as well. Fingers crossed for him and the SARKCESS team. Lets make Ghana proud.
However, as to whether other musicians from Ghana will be joining him like the previous Apollo theatre one, well we do not know yet, but trust us to bring you any info pertaining to that most definitely.
