It was just a verbal argument - Elvis Opoku

Diminutive and combactive midfielder,  Elvis Opoku has rejected any claims of an alleged fight with his teammate, Derek Sasraku.

According to earlier reports, the two players of Aduana Stars FC were involved in a fist fight at the training grounds  as the team geared up for their CAF Champions League match. 

Scheduled to play ES Setif from Algeria in the second leg of the qualifiers,  the former Opoku Ware School student,  Elvis Opoku believes it is just a plot to make the Ogya boys lose focus.

The former Ashanti Region Milo Inter School games goalking further adds that there was an argument with his colleague but that never resulted in a fight.  

On the current pictures showing his injured face, the former Asante Kotoko youth team trainee disclosed that " this was an old picture which was taken after an injury suffered in a "Sunday Special " game sometime ago."

He however dared anyone who thinks otherwise to come over to their training grounds tomorrow to ascertain the veracity of this claims. 

Aduana Stars head into the second leg with a goal advantage.
