Ghana Premier League - Round 4- 6 Star Aduana , Hearts and Kotoko win.

What a football weekend it has been.  Did you miss Yahaya Mohammed's first half hattrick at the Dormaa Park?  Well, we have you covered.
Jordan Opoku (8)
Two days of football and the weekend was not bereft of good attacking football coupled with some good defending bar Inter Allies' walloping. A goal was scored in each of the games played,  18.goals in 8 matches.

Here is how it happened across the various match centres :

Kumasi : Bechem Utd 1, Ashantigold 1
For once the miners failed to win in the game played at a neutral ground for television broadcast.  Emmanuel Owusu Boakye got a goal for the home side with just 20 minutes played. Amos Addai finished off a good run at the home defence to grab the equaliser. His goal cut short the home fans' cheers.  One all it ended as nothing could separate both sides in the second period of the game.

Kumasi : Sharks 2, WAFA 0
A spirited performance from the lads from Elmina ensured that they handed WAFA their first defeat of the season. In a game full of running, Sharks managed to find the back of the net twice, once in each half. Benjamin Arthur planted Richard Mpong's inch perfect set piece.  In similar fashion,  Daniel Obeng sent the ball in the net in the opposite goal. Sharks needed this win.

Current Standing
Dormaa : Aduana Stars 6, Inter Allies 0
Inter Allies suffered a humiliation at the Dormaa Park as Nathaniel Asamoah and Bright Agyei grabbed goals in the closing stages of the game to call off Yahaya Mohammed's goal feast. The attacker found the back of the net three times to give his side their first win of the season. It couldn't have been any better as long serving Captain,  Emmanuel Akuoku also found the back of the net. What a long ride it will be for the away side back to their base.

Aiyinase : Karela 3, Dwarfs 0
3 goals, 3 points was the story for the home side as the away side succumbed to a consecutive defeat. Karela had to win and it took none other than Diewusie Taylor to get them off the mark.  Isaac Kwain and Donald Wellington also added their names to the list of goalscorers for the home team.

Yahaya Mohammed went home with the match ball
Wa.: All Stars 1, Berekum Chelsea 0
Abdul Nafiu Iddrisu's goal in the first half of the game  was enough to defeat the traveling side. Tired as the away team did,  the home side were not in the mood to split points. They showed great resilience to protect their early lead.

Dansoman : Liberty Professionals 1, Medeama SC 1
Things are not on the smooth at Dansoman and Kwame Boateng of Medeama was ready to add his name to the list of assassins. He did it in great fashion as he scored his personal third of the season. Benjamin Eshun managed to grab a point for the home side.

Kumasi : Kotoko 1, Eleven Wonders
Like Christ, Jordan Opoku ressurected from the dead to save Asante Kotoko. The former Feyenoord Rotterdam player made a run from the middle of the pitch to tap home a team move. His celebration as the ball touched the net told the story of the day. Kotoko couldn't have been any luckier.

Joyous players of Hearts of Oak
Cape Coast : Hearts 1, Dreams 0
Patrick Razak won't stop scoring at the Cape Coast Stadium, will he? The diminutive winger tapped in Christopher Bonney's cross to give Hearts a lead they were never going to surrender.  Clearly the Hearts of Oak goal was never going to be breached.
