Bankroller of Obuasi based AshantGold SC, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong, has called on the government of Ghana to consult Mr. Nyantakyi in view of the current football reforms.

Until recently, Mr. Nyantakyi, owner of Wa based All Stars was the Football Association president. He was victimised in an exposé by Tiger Eye Pi and duely resigned from his position.

Speaking on Atinka FM, Dr. Frimpong affectionately known as 'Champion' bemoaned the loss of the astute football administrator and called on the government to include his experience in building up the future.

Ghana has really lost a gem in Kwesi Nyantakyi to this scandal but it's all good I will suggest to the government to consider engaging former GFA boss Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi as consultant as we try to do the new reforms in Ghana football.- Dr. Frimpong

He further added that corruption is a global scandal and as such there was no need to paint the ex football president 'black' to the world.

Corruption has taken over the whole world not Ghana alone, so we should stop painting ourselves black to the world" - Dr. Kwaku Frimpong
Hitherto to his resignation, Mr. Nyantakyi had been the Football Association head for 13 years.
