ASABA 2018- JANET AMPONSAH WINS TWO MEDALS AS HOR HALUTIE MISSES OUT AGAIN

Ghana's Janet Amponsah won bronze after placing 3rd in the 200m finals at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba on Sunday. The sprint Queen had previously won silver in the 100m finals on Thursday at the African Senior Athletic Championship.


Compatriot, Hor Halutie hasn't been able to get a medal. She placed fourth in both finals. 

Lou Ta from the Ivory Coast led the pack in both 100 and 200m finals.

In the other events, Abigail Kwarteng will take to the field at 15:05 to compete in the women’s high jump on Friday. Kwarteng currently holds the national record in the high jump event (1.87m)
