24 year old center forward Derrick Sasraku Jr has secured a deal with Tunisian club side Club Africain. The former Aduana Stars player joins the 13 times Tunisian league winners on a 3 year contract. Sasraku who was instrumental in the Dormaa based club's 2017 Ghana League triumph suffered a drop in form 2018 coupled with a host of disciplinary problems. 

The North African club will provide him a new home as well as challenge for the energetic forward. 

Gyamfi's Column presents you some important numbers behind Derrick Sasraku Jr's career.  

17- The big center forward scored against Hearts of Oak on the seventeenth minute as Hearts suffered their first away defeat on matchday 5 in 2017.

5- He is the fifth Ghanaian player to be joining the Tunisian club side in a little over a year. Lawrence Lartey, Latif Anabila, Abdul Wahab and Nicholas Opoku being the last Ghanaians to have moved in the said duration. 

27- The league had to be decided as Aduana led WAFA by just a point after 26 round of games. The home side had to defeat WAFA on matchday 27 to confirm their seriousness to win the league and Sasraku Jr did get the much needed winner. His goal ensured that Aduana led WAFA by 4 clear points with 3 games to spare in the 2017 season. 

3000- He was fined 3000 cedis for trading punches with teammate Elvis Opoku during a training session ahead of the Champions League qualifier away to ES Setif. 

12- Then 19, the center forward got a 12 month ban in 2014 for assaulting assistant referee, Mumuni Tahiru during a lower tier game between his club Starke FC and Charity Stars. 

64- He provided the assist for Agyei Bright to get the solitary goal that won them the 2018 Super Cup against Kumasi Asante Kotoko. His great work on the 64 minute led to the goal as Aduana became the first club from Brong Ahafo region to win the Super Cup. 

4- The young forward has been cited for disciplinary problems on 4 occasions in his short career. He has once assaulted a referee before having brawls with Aduana teammates Stephen Adams and Elvis Opoku respectively. He recently attacked Aduana's assistant coach, Tandoh. A beast of a player! 

74- His strike on the 74th minute ensured that Aduana sailed past Al Tahadi in the 2018 CAF Champions League qualifier. The goal, the second of the game put Aduana a goal up on aggregate. 

1- He set up the tone for Aduana's second league triumph by scoring the club's first league goal in 2017. He netted the winner in Dormaa against Ashantigold on matchday one. 

500- Derrick was fined 500 cedis for failing to report for training on an agreed date given by then Head Coach, Yussif Abubakar. 

92- On matchday 6 in 2017, he scored a late winner to help Aduana complete a comeback against Inter Allies at El Wak Stadium. The 92nd minute goal ensured that Aduana got their first away win against Inter Allies.  

22- After a stellar campaign in 2017, many clubs came calling for his services but the striker penned a two year deal with Aduana on 22 November. 

8- He found the back of the net 8 times in 23 games as he led the Dormaa club's attack in the 2017 league success.
