Accra Hearts of oak used Asante Kotoko to enrich themselves through the Tabea sponsored super 2 friendlies according to Lawyer Sarfo Duku.

The head of the newly appointed 12-man Asante Kotoko communication team claims the supporters of Hearts of oak who came to watch the two-legged friendly match were less than 20% and that the money generated from the gate proceeds was solely due to Kotoko's numerous fans.

The idea to play such a friendly match was initiated by Hearts of oak who suffered a 4-0 defeat on aggregate over the two legs. Despite the painful lose, the Phobians made an approximate net of GHC 90,000 likewise Kotoko, but Sarfo Duku believes Hearts of oak used Kotoko to enrich themselves.

"It's all about Kotoko. Looking at things Hearts used us to gain money", Sarfo Duku stated, speaking to FOX 97.9 FM on Rush Hour sports.

When asked why he claims so, Sarfo referred to the fact that most of the fans who trooped to the stadium were Kotoko fans as Hearts fans were less than 20% of the total attendance.

"Their supporters who came were less than 20% if you calculate it. And to be honest, the evidence was so clear, all of you (the media) were there, everyone knows it in Ghana, it's an open secret", he boasted.

Having suffered a 4-0 defeat to their arch rivals Kotoko, Hearts of oak have considered pulling out of any future friendly matches with Kotoko including the soon to be held ceremonial game for John Kuffuor's 80th birthday celebrations.
