Kumasi Asante Kotoko lock horns with Kitwe based Nkana FC in the CAF Confederations Cup. In a rather tough group where each club has managed to win their home games in the 2 rounds of games played, a point away from home is golden.

The Zambians boast of an impressive home record in CAF Inter Club competitions and are yet to lose a game at the Nkana Stadium in 57 outings. Their Ghanaian counterparts lost to Al Hilal in their first away game but managed 53% of the ball possession. Nkana won't be cowed by that having beaten Al Hilal at home despite having only 49% of possession.

Team News
Nkana FC will likely be without 2012 and 2013 Zambian goalking, Roland Kampamba who sustained an injury in the game against Al Hilal. The club however welcomed back Ghanaian defender, Richard Ocran against Power Dynamos. He had been absent since their group opener against fellow Zambians, Zesco United.

The Ghanaian club will be without stalwart defensive midfielder, Richard Senanu. The midfielder for all his game reading and interceptions also managed 13% of Kotoko's 445 passes against Zesco United in Kumasi.

Game Approach
Nkana were on the losing end of the Kitwe derby as Power Dynamos shipped two goals past them in their league game. Coach Chambesi went with a three man midfield with Malambo, Ngulube and Chisala. The same approach saw his side lose by two goals to Zesco United. On Sunday afternoon the gaffer will have the luxury of choosing between the experienced Chibwe or Malunga in post. He is likely to revert to a midfield base of Malambo and Chisala which allows his side to exhibit their attacking prowess. In captain Walter Bwalya,  Tchimenga and Kelvin Kampamba, he is assured of a goal. Tchimenga and Walter have 3 goals each in their last 4 games. Simon Bwalya or Festus Mbewe can come in for Roland Kampamba. In defence, Ramadan, Ocran, Lhole and Musa form a good quartet but in Ben Adama, Chambesi has enough cover. Lhole has been absent in the last 2 games and  Adama can take the left back slot. Musonda who played against Al Hilal will make way for Ocran. In Ocran's absence the club conceeded 2 against Al Hilal.
Player(s) to Watch; Walter Bwalya (1 goal in 2 games), Freddy Tchimenga (1 goal in 2 games).

Asante Kotoko have played with a consistent 11 in their first 2 group games but the injury to Senanu means Coach Akonnor will have to ring some changes. The side's trusted right back,Sefa has been exploited for his diminutiveness and against Zesco United, Jese Were won almost all aerial duels against him. Could he be replaced as rumoured? In Umar Bashiru and new boy, Habeeb Mohammed, the gaffer has a ready made replacement for Senanu. Habeeb Mohammed can also play in the likelihood that Sefa sits out of the game. Captain Amos Frimpong, Ganiu and Badu will be the other 3 defenders lining up infront of safe hands, Felix Annan. The concentration of Kotoko's young centre backs will once more be tested. Bonsu will play in the box-to-box role with the fabulous four playing ahead of him. Gyamfi, Baako, Fatawu and Yacouba form a deadly quartet who can mesmerize any defence on their day. Kotoko's highline and pressing will be fan to watch.
Players to watch;  Yacouba Songne (2 assists in 2 games), Felix Annan (9 shots saved in 2 games)
