With seven league games left to spare, the Ghana Premier League bounces back into action this weekend after a short break. The battle for the coveted trophy remains whilst the war to escape the drop also continues across the eight venues this weekend.
This weekend's clashes promises nothing but fireworks as Hearts of Oak seek to annex their first GPL trophy in seven years. Will All Stars or Dreams FC pull a surprise to win the league? Is New Edubiase United destined for the drop? We live to see.
The previous round of matches saw 19 goals being scored across all centres with Liberty Profesionals' Latif Blessing emerging as the star performer of the round scoring three goals against Hasaacas.
Saturday's sole game will see Hearts of Oak traveling to Sogakope to battle it out with WAFA. Defending league champions, Ashantigold will shrug it out with New Edubiase United in the Adansi derby on Sunday. Techiman City FC will host Dwarfs at the Nana Ameyaw Park. All Stars will welcome Bechem United to the Malik Jabir Park with Medeama SC traveling to Tema to play Inter Allies.
