GPL- Round 29: 11 THINGS WORTH READING

The Ghana Premier League just cannot cease to thrill it's numerous followers with just two round of games left to be played. The penultimate round of games will be played at the same time across the various venues this Wednesday as the quest for glory beckons.
Wa All Stars will play Aduana Stars at the Malik Jabir Sports Complex. Kotoko will make the short trip to Obuasi to face Ashgold at the Lenclay Stadium. Medeama and Hearts will also settle scores at the Accra Sports Stadium with Inter Allies facing Liberty at Tema in a regional derby. 
FA Cup holders, Bechem United will welcome Dreams FC to the Nana Gyeabour Park whilst neighbours Techiman City will also fight it out with Hasaacas. Chelsea will also make the trip from Berekum to face WAFA at Sogakope. Dwarfs will return home to play New Edubiase United. 

Here are some things worth knowing ahead of the upcoming games;

1. Aduana Stars and Wa All Stars are on 48 points respectively. The highest amassed by any club so far.

2. Hearts and Kotoko have scored 28 goals each after 28 games. Averaging a goal per game.

3. Aduana Stars' Bright Adjei has won the coveted CNN goal of the week twice. He has scored 10 league goals.

4. Abednego Tetteh, the last player to ship in a hat-trick this season has scored 41.3% of Bechem United's goals. 12 out of 29.

5. The last three league duels between Aduana Stars and All Stars ended 1-0 in favour of the winner.

6. 19 red cards were shown in the previous two league seasons.

7. Bechem United have now won all their last 5 league games.

8. 31 games in the second round of this season's league have ended 1-0. 

9. 15 goals were recorded in the last round of games.

10. Techiman City are still winless in their last 5 tries.

11. Last season included, Inter Allies have won a paltry 3 times away from home. Drawn 8 , Lost 18.
