Ghana Premier League - Round 7- Match Preview

It's another weekend, and per our culture, these days are always fun filled. This weekend promises nothing but that. It's a football weekend in Ghana no matter how tight your schedule is. Hopefully all the match venues will be lit up with vociferous chants amidst our traditional drumming. Football is a part of our culture.

The 7th round of football games will be played across the country with no game to be spared. On Saturday, Sharks will travel from Elmina to play Hearts at the Cape Coast Stadium with Medeama fighting it out with Allies at the same venue later on in the day as they both seek to get the maximum points at stake.

Dawu and it's environs will keep their believes high as the theater of dreams will host the game between Dreams FC and the traveling Kotoko. Chelsea will be in search of their second league win when they do battle with Bechem United at Berekum in a regional derby. In a battle of  equals, Liberty will hope to deepen Dwarfs' woes when the two sides clash at Cape Coast.

Wafa who seem to have their wind taken from their sail will travel to play Wonders at Techiman. Karela will make the long trip up north to engage All Stars at Wa in their first ever meeting. Did I save the best for last? Well, defending champions, Aduana Stars will travel to Obuasi to lock horns with the current league leaders, Ashantigold at the Len Clay Stadium.

45 games have been played so far with 90 goals scored in those games.

NB: The Obuasi clash of former League Champions has been postponed due to Aduana's travel to participate in the CAF Confederations Cup
