HOW GHANAIAN PLAYERS FARED IN THE CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE AND CONFEDERATIONS CUP

Aduana Stars managed to end AS Vita's unbeaten streak when they defeated them at the Dormaa Park. Aduana settled the game in the opening 11minutes as strikers, Bright Agyei and Yahaya Mohammed got a goal each before the away side pulled on back. 

The Ghanaian side are now placed 3rd on the log with 4 points trialing the first club by just a point. The club will seek to qualify out of the group stages of the 15th CAF Confederations Cup.

Some Ghanaian players also featured for various clubs in the CAF competitions on Tuesday and Wednesday. Gyamfi's Column writes on how they fared for their various clubs. 

CAF CHAMPIONS LEAGUE

AS Togo-Port Vs Mamelodi Sundowns 
Razak Braimah lasted the entire duration of the game on the bench as Sundowns lost to Hudu Yakubu's AS Togo. It was the Togolese sides first win in the group stages. 

Baffour Sebe bossing the midfield for Horoya 
Horoya Vs Wydad Athletic Club 
Ghanaian born Burkinabe international, Ocansey Mandela got the goal for the Guinean giants as they held WAC to a one all drawn game. Brefo Mensah and Seyei Sebe Baffour all started in midfield for the Guinean club, Horoya. Daniel Nii Adjei was nowhere near the matchday squad for the Morrocans. 

CAF CONFEDERATION CUP

Enyimba Vs Williamsville Athletic Club
Fatau Dauda kept a cleansheet as his side, Enyimba won by a goal to nothing. Farouk Mohammed also played full time for the Nigerians as Omar Tofic sat out. 

RS Berkane Vs Al-Masry 
Torric Jebrin saw 85 minutes on the pitch as Al Masry held RS Berkane to a scoreless draw.
