CAF CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP -FAROUK POWERS ENYIMBA TO VICTORY AS BAFFOUR AND MENSAH HELP HOROYA TO VICTORY

Ghana's sole representative in the African inter club competitions, Aduana Stars suffered a woeful loss at home to Asec Mimosas. This makes their next game just a mere exercise as they stand not chance of making it out of the group stages. The blame game will continue but how long will it last?

Farouk Mohammed (Blue) - Enyimba Vs Williamsville
Elsewhere, Farouk Mohammed kept his cool in stoppage time to convert a spot kick for Enyimba as they won their first away game in the Confederations Cup.

The win puts the Nigerian club in pole position to qualify for the next stage as Djoliba got grounded to the bottom.

Mohammed, cool like the color blue,  fired the ball into the back of the net from 12 yards  after Sunday Adetunji was brought down inside the penalty box.

The former Elmina Sharks midfielder who joined the Aba club as a free agent has been doing splendidly well since his move.

Brefo Mensah and Seyei Baffour all featured in Horoya's win over AS Togo-Port. Another Ghanaian in Ocansey Mandela, got a goal for the Guinean club. Mandela though chose to represent Burkina Faso at the international level.

The Guinean club looks likely to qualify to the next stage of the Champions League with a game against Sundowns next in line.
