Former Aduana Stars captain, Elvis Opoku, just the recent past week took the radio to register his disgust at the current happenings in the club. The midfield enforcer looked all set to hand in a transfer request based on his utterances.

The club supervised the departure of key characters like Coach Yussif Abubakar and abled striker Nathaniel Asamoah Aduana as their continental glory hopes were dashed. Midfielder, Emmanuel Boateng has also been transferred to Israeli outfit, Hapoel Tel Aviv. However, Elvis who the club owed some unfulfilled promises has been denied the chance to move on to another suitor. Not once, not twice.

Frustrated, he took to the media to vent his spleen. The former Bibiani Gold Stars gem, signed a 3-year contract renewal at the beginning of the aborted season. Another love story turned  sour?

Seth Opare, Wahab Adams, Daniel Darkwah, Godfred Saka and Nathaniel Asamoah managed to leave the club having run out their respective contracts. This looked to be the trend with the two Yahaya Mohammeds and Emmanuel Boateng's direct transfers standing out.

Upon personal reflections, the diminutive but energetic midfielder has taken to his Facebook wall to utter an apology to Nana Agyemang Badu and all stakeholders for his recent wording.

This is how the 2017 Ghana Premier League winner put his words;
I humbly express my deepiest apologies for my misconduct. I regret that my actions made the situation worse than it needed to be. To Osagyefo Oseadeeyoo Nana Agyeman Badu, The Aduana Football club, The players and you the Fans. I can only say i am sorry.
What's been said has been said. Is there a way forward? A bold step, Elvis!
