WHO PLAYED? CAF INTER-CLUB COMPETITIONS

The Ghanaian football fans' inclination to the CAF inter-club competitions is on the descendancy. Currently, Ghana has no representative in the on-going competitions and this could be a factor. Also, in the recent past, the performances of many Ghanaian clubs at this stage has been abysmal. 

Will the Ghanaian interest in these games ever be rekindled?

Let's see which Ghanaian players starred for their clubs; 

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE 

Seyei Baffour played the entire duration of the game as Horoya and El Ahly settled for a goalless stalemate. Fellow Ghanaian, Godfred Asante replaced left-back Lingani after 35 minutes for the Guinean club. Brefo Mensah was an used substitute for Horoya as the drew at home to the Egyptians.  


CONFEDERATIONS CUP 

Prosper Donkor featured as Rayon failed to defeat Enyimba at home. The former Accra Young Wise midfielder was subbed off as the game wore out for a striker. Omar Tofic was also an unused substitute for the visitors as they managed a scoreless draw. Former Black Stars goalie, Fatawu Dauda didn't make the matchday squad for the elephants from Nigeria. Farouk Mohammed also missed the game for Enyimba. 

Torric Jebrin replaced cautioned Ahmed Shokry late into El Masry's home win over Algerian side USM Alger.
