"WE CAN'T AFFORD THE PRODUCTION OF UMBRO KITS"- HEARTS' BOARD TO NOONAN

Having secured a global deal with Umbro Sports in the latter parts of 2018  to serve as Hearts' kit sponsors and technical partners, one would ask why the delay in seeing the club appear in any apparrel from Umbro.

Reports have it that Hearts' Top Hierarchy have been informed by CEO Mark Noonan that the club will have to provide $50,000 to cater for the production of the kits. In response, the CEO has been tasked to find "sponsors" to cater for this cost.

According to these reports, this has accounted for the delay in getting the Umbro kits for the team as well as supporters' paraphernalia.

Hearts of Oak last signed a kit deal with Barex facilitated by Pacific Football Ghana Limited in November, 2016. Prior to that, the club pulled out of a deal with Singapore based kit manufacturers, Mafro because they had to pay a fee for production.

The Club, the third formed in the country have meanwhile been preparing for the new football season with 7 wins in 9 friendlies played under new Coach,  Kim Grant.
