Zambian powerhouse, Zesco United travels to Ghana to face Asante Kotoko with Ghanaian striker, Rahim Ousmanu making the cut. Head Coach George Lwandamina selected 18 players for the West African trip.

The attacker joined the Ndola based club from city rivals Biuldcon as a free agent on November, 2018 on a year two year deal. The Ghanaian began his United career with a goal against Nigerien side AS Sonidep in the CAF Champions League qualifier. 

When quizzed about his return to Ghana, Rahim had these words to spill, "Personally I am happy my team will be playing Kotoko, I believe it will offer me the opportunity to showcase my talent to the national team handlers."

Having dropped off from the Champions League to compete in the Confederations Cup,  Zesco will fancy their chances and the inclusion of the club's record goal poacher, Jese Were affirms it. Jese's 5 goals in the CAF competitions this season and a goal in the league takes his  tally to 66. The Kenyan was previously tied with Jackson Mwanza on 60 goals.

Chipolopo star man, Lazarous Kambole also makes the trip alongside Nigerian striker Quadri Kola Aladeokun. Kola has been involved in 4 goals this season registering a goal and a  duo of assists in the league. 

Zesco United won their first game of the group by defeating Nkana FC in a local derby with Kotoko losing away in Ombdurrman to Al Hilal.

Kotoko hosts Zesco at 4pm (16hours GMT) on Wednesday,  13th February.
